The 32nd SWAN Trauma, Critical Care & Emergency Surgery Conference is taking place on 19–20 March 2027 at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park. Early Bird registrations are now open: www.swanconference.com

SWAN brings together leading clinicians, specialists, nurses, allied health professionals and healthcare leaders from across Australia for two days of education, collaboration and discussion across trauma, critical care and emergency surgery.

The Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society (ANZTS) Annual Conference will be held at the Hilton, Sydney, Australia from 15-17 October 2026.

The ANZTS Trauma 2026 Conference theme, Trauma in a Changing World, will explore the evolving challenges, innovations, and future directions in trauma care and trauma systems. Further details can be found at https://www.traumaconference.com.au

The ANZTR Bi-National Trauma Minimum Dataset has been updated to Version 2.2 (July 2025), to be implemented from date of injury 1 July 2025. Updates have been made to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, data elements and guides for use.
